The tropical gardens are amazing, surrounding houses are quite near but you wouldn’t think so with all of the tropical gardens for privacy. The drive from Cairns is about an hour and involves some winding along the ocean. Once you get there, it’s worth it for the stunning view and the perfect place to relax."

"The Bahama House is fabulous and we had one of the best family holidays ever. Loved the layout, plenty of room both inside and out for our four families, including 3 grandchildren. The House is located near four mile beach, a kids playground, small shopping centre and a couple of cafes are within walking distance. Only a short drive to the centre of Port Douglas for dinner and lunch, or if you want, you can walk along 4 Mile beach to PD (lovely in the morning or late afternoon). The kids...
