"What an amazing location to stay in the Speyside area and in Dufftown. My expectations were well exceeded by the fit out and finish of the property, the size and space and practical appointments for this accommodation. A modern bathroom complimented the more traditional cottage feel and there was also a washing machine that was very timely at this stage of my holiday. Two bottles of whisky with an honour system touched off the whole experience for a couple of nips late in the evening. The rooms...

"The cottage has very spacious living areas and had everything the two of us needed for a quiet and relaxing stay while we explored the area. We especially appreciated taking a soak after long walks. Would definitely book again at our next chance to visit Ballater."

Ballater is very close (less than 10 min cycle). Interior is exactly as in the photos. Plenty of space for boots, coats etc. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Nether Bellandy! Tony and Sharon were great hosts and the cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery in the Scottish highlands. We saw plenty of local bird and wildlife, had great encounters with the farm animals on site and really enjoyed the remote and quiet location. Would definitely stay again!"

"The flat was lovely, I'd happily stay again, but be warned when booking, you're actually booking through Expedia, then VRBO< and then finally cottages dot com, so the payment was difficult. It should say this on the listing, I'd just book via cottages dot com as it's easier."
