The hotel setting was spectacular, and the service was exceptional. Our room was exceptionally quiet. Just exploring the hotel grounds was a mini-adventure! The only area for improvement was in a few of the meals (steak over-cooked, service occasionally slow at Tusk's bar).

The hotel is nice enough with good surroundings and plenty to do. However the service in the breakfast room was severely lacking. Cold food, rude staff and no one seems to care at all. Very disappointing breakfasts.

The Palace EXCEEDED all of my Expectations! This place is extraordinary...it is magical! The service provided by the manager, Francois, Gemolemo at the Front Desk, Seipati, Concierge, and Anna, Housekeeping was second to none! 5 star hotel with 3 star service.The hotel and the facilities were excellent however the service was very poor on a number of occasions. We also had some issues with the room that weren’t resolved despite raising them a number of times and service in the bars and restaurants was so slow and not very professional. Loved the palace itself and the food was very good but the service was a real let down.
