"Don’t take my rankings for this hotel meaning it is bad. But we have been in Germany for over two weeks and have stayed at 6 other hotels, and this was the one that just didn’t meet the same standards. It is in a great area and the room was pretty clean, but they do need a good amount of maintenance. "A bit of a curates egg. Offerred a welcome drink and then charged for it. Excellent balcony. Brochure mentioned ceiling fan. would have been helpful with 33 degree temerature. It did not exist.A good accessible walk in shower but towels were not changed in the three days stay. No daily housekeeping even though that was in brochure. As regards disability accessible it is lucky that I can get up flights(3) of stairs with two sticks . With a wheelchair you have no hope (no lift). Breakfast not up...

"We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"Good hotel close to the centre. In my opinion they should be giving double size duvet and two pillows for double bed (instead of single) and there should be a kettle in the room. Overall great staff and good facilities. "
