"This must be a 5* hotel because it was amazing, spacious room, dining table, sofa, bedroom en suite with a view of the sea. The breakfast was amazing fresh Orange juice and everything you could of, eggs , bacon, toast, small pots of tea to much to mention. I will return."

"Not fancy but clean. Perfect for one night (no kettle, no microwave, no fridge). Good beds. Overall somewhat run-down but everything works (including the AC). The one glitch was that a gentleman at the front desk was supposed to call me a taxi at 12:20 for 12:30 to get to the train station, but he forgot. At 12:35 I asked at the front desk (different gentleman) who said his colleague must have forgotten and placed a call. Luckily I was planning to be 30 min early for my train so the extra 15 min...

"A very nice hotel with lovely staff. A 7min walk to the promenade & beach so not too far for a swim. There are pleasant coastal path and inland walks and the nearby Roses fortress remains are worth a walk around. The breakfast was very good. "

Lovely stay in Cebere.

"The property was lovely, however it was not the property in the photos of the villa we thought we were staying at. The villa was next door but the RHS of a pair and the one we had booked from the photo's was the LHS of the next pair so we had less sun by the pool (Gone by 2.30pm) the one we had booked had sunshine until after 5pm. The pool was also smaller, however it was still a lovely villa and we had a wonderful time, just not in the villa we had booked. The owner said that we had been upgraded, to a 4 bedroom, but as we were just a couple, then the additional bedrooms were wasted. We were also charged £100 for cleaning and £70 for linen and towels; this only became apparent when we were issued a contract to sign (In French) this was not made clear in the price of the villa and as there were only 2 of us, we didn't require linen for 8 and the cleaning was minimal. All that aside the villa was lovely and we had a great holiday though my knees are feeling the 35 steps to the living area from the road! "

Lovely stay in villa with view!

"We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa. In particular, the pool is fantastic and the view amazing. The kitchen was really well stocked and the living area comfortable. Although the living area is not air conditioned (the bedrooms do have air conditioning) it received a decent breeze through the windows so we were not hot - we actually preferred it that way! We did not bring a car (we arrived by a slow but direct train from Barcelona to Cerbere which was hard to find out about online but does exist and was only 18 euros/person!!) and did find the steep hill a bit of a challenge (and we like walking!!), but this would be nothing if you had a car (and is obviously the reason it has such a lovely view). Cerbere village has an adequate grocery store, a few good restaurants and a couple of nice hidden bays to visit, and the station means you can easily visit other towns in the local area although the train is only every 2 hours or so. "
