"We arrived early & had no idea where to go to check in. I may have missed it on the emails. We knocked a door of another cottage & it was the owner. We weren’t met with the friendliest of welcomes at first. Not impressed that we had arrived early. "Had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house, so well equipped and everything has been thought of. The slide and gamesroom gave all the family so much fun. The weather was lovely, so we were able to use the vast outdoor area. The host was superb, so thoughtful and accommodating in all areas. Will most definitely be returning."

"The property is in a good location (a path provides a short walk to Combesgate Beach) with a wonderful views of Woolacombe Bay. The property is eco-friendly, with solar panels to provide energy. We found the property was comfortable, roomy and well supplied in all areas. It did take us a little time to get used to the induction stovetop the first night. Johnny was friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our week, and would like to return there again!"

"Had a lovely stay at the property. Was a of three families with 6 adults and 8 children. Had a perfect selection of bedrooms/beds to suit us all. Great location. Host was extremely helpful, especially when one child wasn't very well. Would definitely recommend. "

"Really appreciated the ramped access, the lodge is at one level. Suited us well as our son has limited mobility. Co-op just down the lane was great, we went everyday. We had a lot of rain but the terrace seating must be lovely in the summer. We still appreciated the incredible views from there, we just didn’t sit out. There were four of us staying and the living area was very comfortable."

"A great place for the 9 of us to come together from across the south of the UK to have a 56th & a 50th Birthday celebration. Bringing two side of the Family together with plenty to do on the local beaches for the surfers, whilst at the same time having something for the elders of the group and all those in between, meant it was the perfect place to stay."

"Three generations stayed here and all loved it. My 5 year old grandson was amazed at the “upside down” house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Location was good for getting around. Very peaceful. The basket of goodies we received on arrival was lovely. Would definitely stay here again."

"Place clean, adequately furnished/equipped, very basic. Towels were clean but hard and uninviting - same colour and washed/dried with softener would solve. Major issue was old mattress, turned over to a spring twanging accompaniment, and prod in the back. Bedding clean but needs replacing. "
