"The nicest thing about the accommodation was that it was very close to the main train station in Lille. No air conditioning. Window had no screen, we needed to open window for air and that let the mosquitos in. Bathroom was tiny. No TV. WiFi very spotty. And the key situation was ridiculous. No drop box. They wanted you to go to some office to pick up the keys. My train was leaving at 6:15am next day. Was charge €20 ($26 give/take) to have keys picked up. Lot of back and forth with the concierge...

"Het water in de jacuzzi was veel te heet (42 graden) en rook beslist niet fris. Na een half uurtje in de jacuzzi te hebben gezeten dreven er allemaal zwarte vlokjes in die uit de installatie werden gespoten. De deur van de slaapkamer kon niet dicht zodat je het gebrom van de jacuzzi de hele nacht hoorde. "Joli séjour dans cet ppartement lumineux et spacieux non loin de la grande place de Roubaix mais aussi proche du Musée de la Piscine. "We were a group of 8, (family) with kids, teens, adults and seniors. The home was perfect for us with 3 bedrooms and pull out couches, and parking for two cars. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals, and there are two showers and toilets. Groceries just a short drive away. It was a good location for us to drive to Canadian WW1 sites, including Ypres. Vimy Ridge Memorial about an hour drive away. Bruges about I hour drive as is Ghent. Lille is also a beautiful town."
