"We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'Hotes L'Ancienne Ecole. It is a beautiful period property in the lovely town of La Wantzenau. Katia is an amazing host, with passionate knowledge of the Alsace area. Nothing was too much trouble, with a tasty French breakfast each morning. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area."

"Person was horrible to deal with and cancelled stay day of. They were asking for money than agreed upon and were extremely rude and demanding. Also they are extremely demanding and expect the customer to bend around there rules and times, whenever is best for them"

"Lovely property and Sylvie is a wonderful host. Our suite was beautifully decorated (and the AC was cool!). Sylvie provides a delicious breakfast with homemade jams and local yougurt, as well as a small selection of breads, fruit, meatt, and cheese. She also made sure we had a carafe of cold water to drink on our return, which was very appreciated. The peaceful terrace in this quiet village is just what we needed. "Super Sprungbrett um die Umgebung Lembergs zu erkunden. Es gibt mehrere beschilderte Wanderungen im Bereich 3-5 Stunden. Einziger Kritik Punkt an der Unterkunft, keine vernünftigen Verdunkelungsvorhänge. Für Dunkelschläfer sind Scheuklappen Pflicht. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, sollte für jeden etwas dabei sein, ob süß oder deftig. Sehr nette Betreiber."

"We were touched by Chantal's, Yves and Timothy's exceptional hospitality: The self prepared dinner with them was the highlight of our day! The next day we relaxed in the newly furnished spa. And the stylish decoration of the interior with combination of old building with modern elements made our excellent impression complete. All of this comes with a fair price-benefit ratio. We will come here again!"

"We had a wonderfull stay during our Christmas holiday. The house is small but has everything you would need, we also thought it was very well situated within the 'park', it was very private and beautiful looking out at the forest. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend it!"

"Automated check-in can be problematic. After registration, did not receive email to advise of room number or pass code. Unable to gain access and stuck in foyer for some 20 minutes. Fortunately member of staff appeared who was very helpful. Have stayed in France B&B Hotels before and know what to expect. Very good value for money-especially the out of town venues-often near commercial/industrial parks which is fine if you don't intend to use room as a base for sight-seeing. As a stop-over/rest on a long journey, B&B Hotels are ideal."

"It is great for travellers. just next to the airport. very convenientPerfect for anyone flying in or out. It's so close to the airport, which is a huge plus. Super convenient for catching early flights or if you arrive late. No more long drives or expensive taxis to worry about. Definitely recommend it for travelers! ."

"What a find - a hotel in a working convent that used to be a palace! Breakfast nice, dinner excellent. Good choice of wines and beer. Room spotlessly clean, nice size. Grounds beautifully kept. Lovely long walking trails in the woods behind the convent. Plenty of safe parking. Very tranquil, absolutely top class, and at a very fair price. This is the second time I have stayed there, and will do so again. "

"The staff at this hotel were brilliant and very welcoming. The room was exactly as advertised and the whirlpool was a great novelty for the children. The only negative was breakfast; it was very expensive and had a poor selcction - especially for children. It’s also worth noting that the pool is not available to under 16s. "
