Captain Java's Cottage in beautiful Morro Bay!

An enchanting private cottage, ideal for two. Steps from the sand, whale spouts, sand dollars and sea otters to greet you. Private entrance, King size bed, fireplace and private bath. Outdoor seating area to enjoy ocean sunset views. Small refrigerator, microwave and place settings to make your stay easy and comfortable. Outdoor storage for beach toys, if you would like to bring them. Private washer and dryer.
You are surrounded by fabulous scenery and places to visit, whether walking, biking, horseback riding, surfing, kayaking, paddle-boarding or hiking. Morro Bay's Embarcadero is a relaxed walk from the cottage. For further jaunts, you can get in your car with easy access to major Central Coast attractions, such as the famous Hearst Castle, Paso Robles wine country, Cayucos pier, Cambria's moonstone boardwalk and Montana de Oro.
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo is only 15 minutes by car, so parents can visit children at school and escape back to the coast easily.
We do not allow smoking, children or pets.

We liked everything about this property. Very well maintained, clean and stocked with daily supplies. Has just about everything a person needs for their vacation stay. The cottage was clean, adorably decorated and the hosts were friendly, nice and accommodating. This place can be rated above a 10 !

A Little Something Extra!
"A Little Something Extra" doesn't even come close to describing the numerous amenities provided by our hosts, Sabine & David. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a fine bottle of bubbly, chilled glasses and a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers. And, while the weather was less amenable, the cottage was warm & cozy & quiet. Perfect spot to stay in Morro Bay. Very close to the beach and easy access to downtown Morro Bay for restaurants. The studio was perfect for our short stay.

Close to the Ocean
We loved our stay at Captain Java's! We arrived mid December - in the dark - and it was so nice to see festive Christmas lights on to welcome us. We also found the poinsettia on the table - a wonderful holiday touch, as well as the sweets beside it. There was some cereal, creamer and coffee for us to use, as well as some things in the fridge - which was all very much appreciated! The fireplace was lovely to turn on in the evening and take the chill off. We stayed for two weeks, and we enjoyed coming 'home' every night! it is just a 5 - 10 minute walk down to the dunes and the ocean, which we greatly enjoyed. Most mornings we went on beach walks. So many things to do around the area and the coastal towns aren't far away. We loved that the drive to San Louis Obispo was just 12 miles away on a four lane besides lots of farm lands. We hope to stay here again sometime.

Captain Java is a very clean, comfortable and very quiet place to stay. Great location with easy walk to beach and centrally located for trips to Cambia or Paso. Hosts were very accommodating and very nice folks. We will stay again next year. Thanks.

Our stay was short but very nice. Great shower pressure and temperature which after a LONG car ride is appreciated. Room is perfect for a quick stay for visiting the area. Amenities were very nice.

Fabulous Anniversary Getaway
We spent the week of Aug. 18 at Captain Java and had the most magical memorable time. We stayed last year for my birthday and made it a point to return for our anniversary because of the wonderful experience we had there.
