Hotel Ruby Marie

3.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (742)
"Overnight in this historic hotel was an experience. Renovated into 15 Victorian decorated rooms & antiques throughout was definitely different than the standard highway chain hotel. If you don’t want German food nearby, there are many bars and restaurants in walking distance, as well as the beautiful capital building. Earplugs are provided for the downtown passing train which was actually very quaint. Two drinks were included for the downstairs bar. Breakfast was good. Our only issue was how...

"Buckingham Inn is a lovingly restored arts and crafts style home. The University Suite is spacious and very well equipped. Innkeepers are great and very accommodating. This is so much better than any hotel in the area if you want to connect with the true Madison WI experience, especially for the price. I highly recommend it!"

Inn at Wawanissee Point

3.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (122)
"This was one of our best B&B experiences or hotels for that matter ever. Our innkeepers, Dave and Trudi were so kind and attentive. Their place is a gem, and meticulously maintained. Huge attention to detail and consideration of their guests. The happy hour, the made-to-order breakfasts (served by Dave, a former beverage manager at the Palmer House in Chicago!), the grounds (charming) and the magnificent views from the great room and our sleeping room made for a very happy stay. We had snow and...

"Our recent stay in Sun Prairie was wonderful. Randy and Connie are outstanding hosts. They greeted us when we arrived. Showed us all the features of the home and were available to answer any questions. They suggested places to take our grandchildren. The house was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do in Sun Prairie and is a short drive to Madison. Our grand daughter told us she wants to come back and stay in this our again."

Quietwater Cottage- Scenic, On the Water, Nature&Birds, Peaceful, Nearby Skiing!

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (233)
"We stayed here 12 years ago. Not much has changed. Oven needs to be replaced. If we were to come again I think my camping furniture would be more comfortable than the couch. Maybe time for some updates. Great view. Bird watching was excellent and the little Christmas tree was a nice addition. "
