Furnishings were modern and comfortable, and we appreciated all of the thoughtful touches (plenty of towels and washcloths, extra blankets and throws, well-stocked kitchen). "The Octagon never disappoints! Joe and Maitland’s property is perfect for walking, hiking or sitting by the Pine Creek. The mountain trails and glorious Fall foliage bring peace to the soul. The upgraded facade, roof, and wood flooring add to the charm of the cabin and its welcoming atmosphere. We are already planning next year’s adventure."

"This cabin was so clean. It was wonderful. Located on the main highway, however we never noticed any traffic noise. We were even out in the backyard with a fire. The location to the Rail Trail and Pine Creek was literally a walk through the yard. The property is very well maintained and very clean. The loft area gets very warm, however if you keep the fans (which are owner provided) on, it really helps to regulate the temperature. We thoroughly enjoyed this Cabin. Make sure to bring your...
