"As an American visiting Curitiba for the first time I was unsure of where to stay so I chose the Bourbon Dom Ricardo for its convenient location next to the airport. During my tripped I stayed at the Radisson and in Santa Catarina I stayed at the Pousasa Pedra Ilha; the Bourbon is by far a better hotel and surprisingly the cost per night is far below the other places I stayed. I wound up returning to the Bourbon do to its luxury accommodations and outstanding value. I liked certain aspects of the other hotels but those perks (valet, better service from staff) did not outweigh the value and level of comfort the bourbon offered. It is officially my preferred hotel when visiting Curitiba."

"This hotel was good for what I needed. Nothing special but it was clean and comfortable. The pool and "gym" are not really usable. If you have kids, they would probably enjoy the pool. The breakfast was good and the location iw good. Close to the bus station and a short walk to the mall, Shopping Estação. Overall it was a good experience. I recommend this hotel. Book the hotel from an App like Hotels.com or Expedia for a much better price."

"The property is in need of renovation. There is mold on the windows, the bed Is very uncomfortable the carpets in the hallways are dirty the rooms are old and not nice. I would not recommend this place. "
