"Aqua by Dreams Hotel is such a true hidden gem of a hotel, and massively under-marketed. We were so pleasantly surprised by the hotel and what the location has to offer. It is fantastic. It is not located in downtown San Juan so its definitely preferable to come by rental car. But the place is just stunning. Its located right at the beach and has private access through a gate. Its a «wild» beach with no amenities but that’s what we prefer because untouched nature is the best. The beach is literally only steps away, and you’ll have it basically to yourself. The hotel also has a pool - which we didn’t even know until we checked in. The pool was clean and modern and our kids loved splashing around. There are a few sun loungers as well. The hotel also a trampoline with my kids were obsessed with! The hotel room was also wonderful. Very clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Traveling with a family, we loved that they offered large rooms with two queen beds and a bunk bed. They cleaned the room daily and changed the towels for fresh ones. The staff were very friendly and welcoming but mostly stayed «in the background». The internet worked great - we had to take a few work calls from the room and had no issues with the connection. There is a restaurant on site that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have live music on the weekends. Down the street, there were a few more very cute local restaurants and bars. 10/10 hotel!
