"We arrived to to a dark, cluttered smelling flat. The windows and front door have no fly screens so opening them was not an option, unless you like midgee and mosquito bites. The place was packed full of furniture so there was no space to move. Dead cockroaches decorated available surfaces. The outdoor back area was full of cobwebs and leaf matter and the yelping puppy next door completed the ambience. The bedroom fan didn’t work and there was no aircon. The first day a man knocks on the door...

No coffee or milk, no cleaning products for an end of stay clean. building works next door from 7 am and the cafe and restaurant next door were closed. The restaurant sold and cafe owners had “gone surfing” The TV did not play Hidefinition content, annoying but a first world problem. The agent was not interested in our feedback"
