"A comfortable but very compact room. Modern bathroom. Large balcony with fabulous view. WiFi and aircon worked well. Staff were available and helpful. Parking is available. A minor problem with an ant infestation in the room and considerable noise from barking dogs and traffic at night."

The next day our trip consisted of a 4 hour historic tour of the island and learning about the many battles between the French and British. Saint Lucia only gained independence 40 years ago and this year marks the anniversary of their independence from the French and British.
