The gite itself was nice and Jean Luc the host was pleasant and responsive. "Loved our stay in Coquillade in April 2025. It was one of the nicest resort we have been to. Everyone working at the resort is extremely lovely. We were interested in renting bike for our next day adventure and the hotel staff was so helpful. The bike shop guy whose rental place is just down the resort road was very helpful and very easy to work with. The resort has that unique luxury vibe and the breakfast is a wonderful spread. The food we ate at the resort restaurant is one of the nicest things we ate in Provence, France. Thank you Coquillade for giving us this wonderful experience."

Fabulous stay in Gordes

"A week at Les Murets is my idea of paradise. The house is lovely and comfortable — the owners have anticipated anything one might need. And the property itself is spectacular. We spent evenings on the terrace enjoying the beautiful view of the Luberon. This was the second time our group had stayed at the property and it did not disappoint. Hope to return soon "

Could be 5 stars with a few little touches

"The location of this gite is perfect. Gorgeous view of Mt. Ventoux and close to restaurants, bakeries, groceries, and, of course, local activities like wineries, hiking, biking. The gite itself was nice and Jean Luc the host was pleasant and responsive. The biggest frustration was a very fussy shower faucet which made it virtually impossible to control the temperature between scalding and ice cold. We understand French & European gites can be much more limited on amenities, but it would have been nice to have a starter roll of toilet paper, bath towels, a clean sponge in the kitchen, dish soap, etc. Just some small, basic touches would have gone a long, long way. In fairness, when we asked for something, the host provided it. It just would have been nice to arrive with a few basics already there."
