"The location is lovely. The hotel is clean and very quite and next to the ski slopes. However, for a brand new 4-star hotel, we were quite disappointed with the service. The breakfeast is more corresponding to a 2-star hotel. The choice of food is limited when taking into account that they are no way to leave the hotel for a dinner elsewhere especially in the winter time. The spa area is beautiful, but keep in mind that it is a non-included service (40 Euro/person). Please make sure that...

"Good stay in Chamonix. Check-in at 1700hrs is quite late and ahould be revised. As a seasoned traveler this is the first time I've ever seen such a late check-out followed by a 1000hrs check-out. Grateful that the check-out was extended to 1100hrs and yes the check-in time is indicated when making the selection for the hotel but just unfortunete. Overall nice stay at Balcon de Savoy."
