Welcome to Bee at Peace! Our cabin comfortably sleeps 6 guests and is located in a private setting with Russel Creek gurgling behind! The outside features a hot tub, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, hammocks, and a rock fire pit! We are located close to all of the outdoor wonder the foothill has to offer: just miles from the base of the Linville Gorge, Lake James and the Fonta Flora Trail! Perfect for your next getaway, this space offers the peace and quiet you have been searching for!

Our cabin is a rustic, farm house style getaway with tons of custom furniture and personalized touches! It is located in a private setting with Russel Creek running behind. The living room has a large rock fireplace with gas logs. The outside features of our cabin include a hot tub, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, hammocks and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs surrounding it. Russel Creek offers a wonderful backdrop to all the outdoor amenities.

AREA INFORMATION
We are located just a few miles from some amazing hiking and nature areas! The Fonta Flora Trail (2 miles) and Lake James State Park (8 miles) both travel along the shores of Lake James with view of the foothills, woods and wildlife! Hawksbill, Table Rock, or Shortoff trails take you to the peaks surrounding The Linville Gorge (known as the Grand Canyon of the East). Upper Creek Falls, Linville Falls, and Catawba Falls will all give you amazing views of waterfalls all within a short drive of our cabin!

Put your feet up, sit a spell, hike a trail, swim in the lake, bike down a gravel path, sail across Lake James and enjoy the crisp clean North Carolina mountain air! We can't wait to host you!

Enjoy unplugging with no wifi or cell service at the cabin (landline available for incoming calls and local outgoing calls, with the phone number provided in your welcome guide). Please note some guests do have minimal cell service but a short drive and all have full cell service. Our family enjoys unplugging and most guests do as well!

Creekside stay in a quaint cabin
Our family of 5 and dog thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the creekside cabin. Having all the kids together in the bunk bed room went smoothly. Enjoyed the hot tub and all the yard games. Bring bug spray though if you'll be outside! Loved the open kitchen & living room. Appreciated the starter wood for the fire pit

It was a beautiful stay. But beware not internet for cell service. They do seem to have a stink bug infestation, so they were flying around inside. Over all we loved the creek and secluded feeling.

Perfect weekend getaway!
We loved this little secluded cabin, close to many hiking trails we loved the Fonta Flora Trail which is conveniently right down the street from the house and the Linville falls were beautiful. Our dogs loved playing in the big back yard. The hot tub and fire pit were are favorite part.

This place was awesome and what we needed for our quick getaway for some snowboarding at sugar mountain. Loved the peace and quiet surroundings and the hot tub and fire pit and everything. Nice place to stay. Would definitely go back.

Cabin was beautifully decorated. Everything was new. Extremely clean and well stocked. Loved the size of the property and the creek. We brought our boat and loved how close it was to Lake James. It was great that the property was big enough to park our boat. Really enjoyed our stay.

Nice Weekend Retreat
The house was just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive. Be aware that there is no cell signal but there is a land line. The hot tub was nice. My husband was disappointed there was no Bigfoot. Can’t have everything.

A peace of heaven
We came to the cabin to get away, decompress, and spend time focused on what truly matters, our family. It was the most amazing week! There is so much to do and so much natural beauty to see in the area! We will definitely be back as this location is truly one of a kind and the hosts are fantastic!

This property was a great quick weekend getaway for us. We have 2 large dogs and an outdoorsy toddler. They all loved running the property and exploring. If you are looking for a place to disconnect, this is it. There is zero cell reception, which was great for family time.

The cabin is very quaint and the property is awesome. Great location if you want to hike and enjoy Lake James. We have dogs that loved the large yard and creek in back. The fire pit and jacuzzi were perfect after a hard hike!

This place was absolutely amazing! My family and I enjoyed every single minute! From everything there is to do at the cabin in general to being right down the road from many things to do like hiking, site seeing and zip lining! This is now our favorite place to stay by far! A week away
This cabin is set up with everything you need. My 4 year old and I enjoyed hammocks hanging near a babbling brook, a cozy fire pit, a great sand volleyball court, creek access for kids discovery and play, hot tub, video collection, even games and videos. Was the best stay ever!
