"The cabin is quite lovely. The main floor is a great gathering place. Plenty of room in the kitchen for prepping and cooking. We brought all of our food and beverages so that we didn’t have to make any unnecessary trips- our host informed us that stores were not convenient. He was right! There was plenty of seasoned firewood and we enjoyed cozy fires each night. I was the lucky one who stayed in the master suite. It was spacious,well-appointed, uniquely decorated, and I felt quite guilty not sharing it! Plenty of thermostats to keep comfortable in all areas and floors. The weather was cold and rainy, and we didn’t take advantage of the outdoor fireplace or hot tub. A good thing to know- the hot tub is drained and refilled after each renting. Had we had one more day, we would have enjoyed the hot tub. For women who “don’t do hot tubs”, that’s saying a lot! I would absolutely recommend the Moosemac Cabin!"

"the cabin was beautiful. the view of the mountains in the morning is unbeatable. the hot tub was warm and clean when we got there. the fireplaces were easy to use as was the grill. the beds were comfortable. we had extra toilet paper. the kitchen had all the cooking utensils and cookware we needed. looks just like the pictures. was definitely not disappointed "

"The cabin is exactly as pictured. Plenty of space to have privacy but also cozy to feel comfortable and able to spend quality time. Loved all the amenities. The hot tub was nice,clean, and well lit with the added ambiance of the smaller lights around the top. During the daytime we walked down to the fire pit and listened to the creek. The cabin was a short 14 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge. We will definitely be staying here again in the springtime to explore all the trails and ride the train and Rail Bikes. Do not hesitate to book this cabin because you will not be disappointed. "

"We had a great stay. Our stay was different than most as we arrived on Thursday and got snowed in until we were able to leave on Tuesday. Had area residents not been able to assist with the snow and ice, we would have been there an extra 3-4 days. Which no one was complaining….The owner was in constant communication and offered various way to assist with food and other items because we couldn’t leave. She understood the situation and had our safety in mind as far as not traveling down the road to leave the cabin.We will definitely stay here again. The cabin had everything you needed. And after we left, I bet they now have a couple of snow shovels! "
