"It was wonderful to be greeted with a lei, a cool washcloth and some pineapple juice. We loved that the snorkel gear and refreshing drinks were included. The food and the views, the cultural program and the friendly staff - all were top notch!"

Large verandah or balcony with outdoor table and chairs and two chaise lounge chairs. Pool with use of kayaks and life jackets. A dock for lagoon snorkeling just to the left of the restaurant entrance. Fish and some turtles in good view. Can walk or kayak to a grocery store. It was perfect for a weeks stay "

"This place is really special. Has to be the best kept secret on the island. Why would anyone pay 2-3 times more for the Hilton or Sofitel, when this brand new hotel has much newer and better accommodations? The rooms are contemporary, but still maintain a Tahitian vibe Loved having the AC for sleeping, and being able to access Netflix and other streaming services on the TV was a nice feature. The kitchenette is awesome, and we saved so much money by preparing a majority of our meals from locally sourced products. Being right on the beach is the only way to go, and this place definitely did not disappoint. We had free access to kayaks and paddle boards, and took full advantage of that, paddling out each morning to the tiny private island just in front, where you are able to do some amazing snorkeling. And the sunsets, WOW! But with all these amazing amenities, the very best thing has to be the staff, and how friendly and responsive they are. This place truly is a gem. Mauruuru Niu Beach Hotel! We will be back! "

"Great property. Really cool pier with access to deep water. They have lots of kayaks and snorkeling gear. Water is dark and not as clear on this part of the island however. Snorkeling is ok but not like the best part of the island. Traditional style place without luxury but they have everything you need"

"We appreciated the natural setting and the steps to preserve nature and the ocean. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching all of the beautiful fish and rays, wow! Loved the beautiful views and water access. We also loved the rustic but elegant vibe of the decor. Every piece looked carefully chosen and fit perfectly. The bed and linens were amazing and comfortable. The waterfront bungalow we stayed in was well equipped for us to make breakfast and snacks. So peaceful!!! A slice of paradise. "

"Authentic and friendly stay in a picturesque location. Sadly, Moorea suffered a massive power outage which made the stay difficult. That notwithstanding, our hosts rallied with extra water and a special effort to present breakfast in the morning!"
