Family Getaway in Moonta Bay

Your home away from home has 3 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 8 persons.

PROPERTY FEATURES:

2 separate living areas: 1 with a 3 seater & 2 seater lounge, flat screen TV, Foxtel & Free to air TV.
2nd living room has a chaise lounge, flat screen TV with Free to air TV.
8 seater table and chairs in dining room.
Split system reverse cycle air conditioner at each end of the house, 1 also in main bedroom and bunk room.
Ceiling fans in living areas & the 2 main bedrooms, no ceiling fan in 3rd bedroom due to the bunk bed.

Outdoor covered deck with gas bbq.
Back deck also has cafe blinds to help keep some sun out and also helps with those fierce Moonta Bay winds!
Large deck esky for your enjoyment for drinks, food or that big catch!
Fully enclosed yard, safe for children and pets.
Swing set in the back yard.
Offstreet parking for boats etc (vacant lot next door).
Washing machine.
Well equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher & microwave.
Small assortment of games and activities for younger children.
Fish cleaning bay out the back.
Carport behind gates for up to 2 cars.

A perfect getaway for couples or families.

PET POLICY:
Pets are welcome as long as advised prior to you arriving to the property. We prefer pets to be outside, not inside. However if inside, we DO NOT allow pets to sleep on the beds or furniture. If pet hair is found on furniture or bedding extra cleaning fees will be incurred.

Bedding Configuration

This property has 3 bedrooms.

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed with a 2 way bathroom.
Bedroom 2 has 1 single and a single over double bunk bed.
Bedroom 3 has a queen bed.

We do have quilts and pillows on the beds, but guests do need to supply their own linen which includes sheets, a top and bottom and pillow case please for the beds.
You will also need to bring all other linen including towels, tea towels etc.

Elliott's Lodge runs on rainwater for the best part of the year with only a few months that we switch to mains water.
We are also running on solar power.

Winter Weekend Getaway
Great property, very well appointed and nice and clean. There was no TV reception so we couldnt watch the football ,but besides that we couldnt ask for more and will definitely be back.

What a wonderful place to stay! Very child and pet friendly. Our daughter LOVED the swing set and the dogs were safely secured in the backyard. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach everyday. Would definitely recommend this place for families. We can't wait to come back.

Looking fir a quiet few days over Christmas to escape the madness at this time of year. Perfect for our dog, secure neat quiet abd walkable to beach shops abd such a great friendly town. Proprry had ample room large bedrooms with a few extras like games , dry food large fridge and BBQ.

Great place for kids
We loved staying here. The fully enclosed yard meant our toddler could run around out the back and had access to three different swings and a slide. We loved walking down to the beach each morning and grabbing a coffee before letting our toddler run through the tide pools on the beach. We would definitely love to stay here again if we can.

A very good place to stay!
Very comfortable, clean and convenient. It was also a nice quiet area and therefor a relaxing few days. We tried to contact the owners, to say, the air conditioner near the deck area wouldn’t work, and we could not get sound on the tv near the front door. My email went to the outbox and would not send.

Great property for a getaway
We had a fantastic stay at Elliott's lodge. The property was bigger than we expected. The 2 separate living areas was great and the place didn't feel crowded with 5 adults. Pet friendly with an enclosed backyard which was the reason we chose to stay. It's really hard to find pet friendly accommodation that is also fully enclosed. Only suggestions to the owners would be to add a hair dryer to the list of items supplied at the property and perhaps instead of providing foxtel, WiFi would be more versatile. Thanks for a great stay, we'll certainly be recommending you!

Great Location
This is a lovely holiday stay. Great beds very comfortable and really quite spacious with two living areas as well as outside. Kids enjoyed the play equipment and we adults enjoyed the back deck Quiet neighbourhood very close to Water Park and beachfront. Air conditioners work beautifully and made us very comfortable.

Good location. Clean property. Largest stove top plate did not work which made cooking a challenge. Bbq had food scraps on it. Overall, was a great stay.
