This hippo was photographed in the Entabeni Game Reserve and he (or maybe she) would watch us for a few moments with nothing more than the ears, eyes and nose above the waterline, then slowly sink underwater for a short time. This process repeated until we left. For all I know, he (or she) is still in that waterhole going up and down!
