"The Schloßschenke is a beautiful hotel conveniently in the heart of Idar-Oberstein. There are plenty of shops and restaurants all in within easy walking distance and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was undergoing renovation but a very nice continental breakfast was included and served in the smaller dining area. Parking is a little bit of an issue as in most cities but the hotel had free parking at a reserved parking area only 300 meters from the hotel. I would stay...

"Unser Aufenthalt war richtig schön. Das Zimmer war sauber und sogar frisches Wasser wurde täglich in unserem Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Bis in den Orstkern war es auch nicht so weit. Abends konnte man mit einem Wein aus dem Weinkühlschrank auf der Terrasse den Sonnenuntergang betrachten, mit Blick auf die Mosel. Rundum ein richtig toller Urlaub :)"

"Wir hatten eine wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Gästehaus. Die Zimmer wurden vor kurzer Zeit renoviert und Familie Stein kümmert sich wirklich liebevoll um Ihre Gäste. "Very nice. Only drawback is that they don't do breakfast (there is a good kitchen with everything you need if you have supplies). There is a coffee machine and there's a bakery just up the street that was open even on Sunday morning, so it isn't a disaster if you don't come equipped."

Den Code für die Schlüsselbox haben wir nach Ankunft in Cochem im Telefonat erhalten.
