"A pleasant stay. After an initial hiccup with our accommodation it was sorted very quickly by Neil for which we were grateful. Would return but would probably return to one of the rooms in the house or the annexe as the Cottage was a little bijou! Very good breakfasts cooked by Jan. Thank you!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The Inn is on a fairly busy road, which means it's easy to find with loads of parking - but most of the better known walks are a drive away. We ate at the restaurant both nights as it was so delicious and the team was lovely and welcoming too. Great ambiance and lovely management."

"We found the Fountain a quirky B&B which actually provide breakfast! Our room was a reasonable size with 2 single beds with a view over the fountain. The room was clean and beds comfortable although the stairs up to the room were quite steep and narrow so we left our luggage in the car and only took what was needed for the one night stay. We had trouble with the shower and would rate this as average."

"We only booked for one night as it was close to Alton Towers but could quite happily have stayed longer. Chalet was really cute, nicely decorated and really clean. Milk, water and orange juice in the fridge was a nice touch (after our long drive it was nice to have a cup of tea that isn’t made from longlife milk 😬). Owner was really friendly and made us both feel welcome. He made us pancakes for breakfast as we aren’t big fans of a full English first thing….It was the BEST pancake ever....

"It was a joy to stay at Parsons House - close to the village centre, the whole place is unusual and quirky; the owner, David, is kind and attentive, the bed one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in; the bath deep with a plentiful supply of hot water; fresh tea and coffee offered at every opportunity, and delivered to the bedroom door; and the breakfasts absolutely delicious - beautifully cooked and presented with local produce, breakfast trifle, and quince marmalade. "Stayed here for 2 night's in June and loved it, the place is warm and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfy with plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. Shower was easy to use and very clean, definitely stay here again. Breakfast was freshly cooked and cooked how you like it, the host was friendly and veey helpful."

"Room was basic but comfortable. Room had tea/coffee making facilities and small TV. Small wardrobe and sink. My room didn't have a bathroom but two on landing. One with shower and one with bath/shower. Soap and towels provided. Good view with plenty of greenery piece and quiet. Tasty breakfast. Everything was nice and clean. Shared lounge to relax in with stereo and TV. Lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby. Would stay again. "
