"We had arrived in Paris after a 10-hour transatlantic flight, taken the TGV to Lyon, and driven our rental car to St. Albans. We planned to stay two nights to recuperate from jet lag. The house is lovely, air conditioned bedrooms which are a must in August and the pool is fab for small children and older people to access. A car is a must as the house is up on the hill.
