COMFY 2 bedroom 1 bath, living room, mini kitchen with 70" smart TV & Grill

This Comfy place is in the heart of Montrose,, CO which is an awesome base for the surrounding area. We are so close to the Black Canyon Monument. As well as other popular places like Ridgway, Ouray and Telluride for hotsprings, hiking or skiing.
This home is a split floor plan with 2 bedrooms, one bath the livingroom And kitchen ALL PRIVATELY...
One bed room has a king bed and the other room has a Full bed on bottom and twin bed on top. All beds are memory foam mattresses. (Additional memory foam mattress inside the bean bag ***just unzip it)
I have added a pack-n-play as well as a high chair.
Additionally there is a front patio with seating and a grill for your use. The front lawn is kept up and in the summer you will find vegetables you may take what you will use just be gentle with the plants.

Your group will not be sharing that space with anyone. There is a barn door that separates the two sides as well as a secure wall behind that barn door.

Owners travel a lot but sometimes they live on site and will be available if you need things otherwise the housekeeper will assist you.

Great Location, minutes from Downtown
Great stay, comfortable. The house itself make quite a bit of noise, heater maybe, and the temperature fluctuates but you get used to it and didn't bother us after a bit. Kitchenette was perfect for our needs. Would stay again.

Great place to stay in the Montrose, CO area!
My family and I needed a place to stay in the Montrose, Black Canyon of the Gunnison area, and this lodging didn't disappoint. Location was a few minutes from all the main attactions in Montrose and easy access to Black Canyon of the Gunnison Nat'l Park. Would definitely stay here again.

Phenomenally clean and quiet
Exceptionally clean and pleasant accommodations. We are 60+ and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The bathroom and mini kitchen was very neat and clean. We slept incredibly well during our stay and the bed was very comfortable. As a further enjoyment watch for the deer near the northeast corner of Niagra and 6700. They were in the little patch of trees everyday! Thank you Catherine for the accommodations.

Our family, with 2 little boys, stayed at Cat’s place for a long weekend to visit Black Canyon. It was a perfect spot for our needs, very clean and comfy, and only 25 minutes from the park. Cat was super responsive and was overall a great host. Highly recommended.

Clean house with a huge TV. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and we got plenty of well needed sleep. The host was very receptive to our call after we were having a bit of trouble getting into the house because of long journey that day.

Super Comfortable stay
If you don’t mind staying a little drive outside of downtown Montrose, I highly recommend a stay here. My husband, two teen sons, and I agreed, this Vrbo was one of the best place we stayed, with regards to comfort, on our week long driving trip around Colorado. The memory foam beds were extremely comfortable proving the best combination of firm and soft, the bunk worked perfect for my two teen sons, there was excellent water pressure and abundance of hot water in the shower, the place was incredibly clean, and offered extremely soft and cushy carpeting, a well stocked kitchenette, and big TV with comfortable couches. Cat was quickly responsive to my questions and check in was easy.

It's close to Black Canyon
The home is very close to Black Canyon which was really great. The house was fine, it's a basic two bedroom with a little kitchenette. The locked thermostat was absurd, you have to ask the host to change it, which she was responsive to texts but I still found ridiculous. The master bedroom TV only had access to a DVD player with one movie "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", which we found the lack of options to be hilarious. Unfortunately, we spilled water on the carpet from a water backpack the morning we were checking out. The host, bless her heart, accused us of lying and said it was "something else" because it was "yellow and crusty." Which leads to the one star on cleanliness, if spilling water causes a yellow stain then I can't imagine how filthy the carpet is, let alone the couch and beds. It would account for the unique odor of the unit. I did pay for the steam cleaning of the spot, but I would highly suggest to the host that they have the entire units carpet steam cleaned, as well as the couches. I rate the whole unit as a one star, no better than a one star hotel.

Catherine responded to our calls about not having any information about the wifi network and about the thermostat access. She was gracious with sharing her garden vegetables with us...and they were delicious. We wished that there had been some more cabinet space to place grocery items on and some more counter space to prepare dishes on. Since there was no dish washer...a small dish rack would have been helpful to keep things more manageable and more easily clean. The small refrigerator was working but ice had accumulated inside the fridge and the freezer part of the fridge. My traveling companion and I both have allergies and sensitivity to scents...so the air fresheners and candles around the house were really difficult for us as the scents were strong. Great neighborhood and responsive host.

Horrible Experience!
Home reeked of cigarette smoke. Contacted the host, who was defensive saying the house was smoke free. She insinuated that I was lying until I pointed out that there was a smoked cigarette on the table outside the front door. The cleaning lady came and sprayed with Febreze. Two days later I ask for more Febreze and she said no one had smoked in the house saying I wasn’t smelling cigarette smoke. I don’t believe it was a coincidence and know it was cigarette smoke. She accused me of being rude just for asking for more Febreze. She was out of town so it was two days before more Febreze delivered. The kitchen sink smelled of mold, weren’t able to take the trash out because the trash container was full, WIFI wasn’t strong enough for steaming apps. I made a mistake thinking I booked the rental for 7 nights but had only booked for 6. We realized our mistake, immediately drove to the home to remove our belongings. This caused a delay in cleaning for the next occupants checking in that day. The listing states “Minimum 1-day vacancy between guest stays” which wasn’t true or there would have been time for cleaning. We were going to help clean until we found out the host lied to VRBO saying we were refusing to leave the home. The host wanted to charge a late fee but the listing doesn’t state a fee for checking out late. I tried to discuss this with her but she blocked me from contacting her. I have stayed in several VRBO homes and never had issues before.

Cozy break from hotels
We really enjoyed our stay here with our 1.5 year old. The separation between living and sleeping makes a really large difference vs hotels. Plus the kitchenette was great and the TV's were giant. Would likely stay again - price is great too
