The property is located in a beautiful part of old Montreal and is very walkable to several attractions like Cirque du Soleil, Notre Dame, Place D’ Armes Metro station and the Port of Old Montreal. There is a great wine bar on the first floor that you actually have to walk through to get to the elevators (They have a pretty good shrimp roll). They can play loud music at times, but we could not hear it at all in our suite on the 3rd floor. As for the room, the photo shows 2 nightstands, ours had 1, which was annoying for my husband the have everything on the floor. The ceilings are quite high making the space feel a little more roomy, even though it is VERY small. The sheets had orange staining on them and the bed was rock hard. The bathroom was so tiny, there was no room to put anything on the edge of the sink, but thankfully it comes with some drawers for storage. The shower is set up poorly and does not have a seal at the door and water leaks onto the floor, there was extensive water damage evident in the wood flooring outside the bathroom from previous guests. With the water leaking onto the bathroom floor it started to gather near the toilet and turn yellow…. The grout was nearly black near the toilet, but white everywhere else, so it has never been scrubbed and the water was now full of urine and dirt from the grout. They only provide you with 1 towel hook meaning someone’s towel either hangs on the water shower door or over the toilet bowl near the hand towel.
