It was a very private place in a renovated garage. Good amenities. Had a bit of trouble checking in because we did not receive instructions prior to arrival. Also had random people knocking on our door early in the morning (before 9am!) and attempt to open the door to our place using the code that was provided to them. We are thankful that they were not able to get in and the code to the place is not accessible to all. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

The location was ok for us. The room I was given was a converted garage. Door opened to wear the parking was (4 spots), and we had to shimmy by an SUV parked in front of our room. There was an outdoor mat inside the room because there was no hallway. We had 1 coat hanger, no cups/glasses, kerig machine in room, but only black tea with no cups, sugar, creamers, etc.. We had a mini fridge that we stocked up with some drinks and snacks, only to find out the next morning that it wasn't even plugged in. Again, it was fine. Clean and well decorated, but we felt/were sleeping in a garage. The 'headboard' of the bed was a frosted glass garage door. The building inside looked nice, it had funky hallways and wood details and the charm I was expecting from a boutique hotel in Montreal, but then I was walked outside to the garage for my room.

It was extremely dirty - there was hair on all the towels, in the shower and on the floor. There was a pile of dirt in the corner that hadn't been swept and stains on the CONCRETE floor (no carpet or anything). We were in the basement when we were told we were getting a room with a view. The shower was outside in the bathroom so everyone in the room sees you in the shower. The room was maybe 10 ft wide and could barely fit a double bed (when we were told we were getting a queen). No toiletries given, there was no staff in the building and you had to call to get a hold of anyone. We decided to leave a night early because we didn't want to stay in this place for more than one night. Lucky for us, expedia really took care of us and refunded our stay, although I doubt the property would have let us do this. Honestly really bad, please don't stay here.

The room was immaculate. The artwork was disturbing. The parking problem cost me a ticket. The cost was good. The room was spacious and comfortable. The concierge was helpful but the system smacked of corporate management and lacked the personal touch of most AB B's I've stayed at.

The room is nothing like what is depicted in the pictures. There is no one there to actually assist you, you always have to call a phone number and they never meet with you in person. The room was small, had an unpleasant smell and the shower was in the bedroom space OUTSIDE of the actual bathroom. I immediately called someone for a refund and booked another room elsewhere.

Great location and beautiful building to stay in downtown Montreal. The building is nicely renovated and is spotless. Heads up to everyone, there is no reception in the building and you will need to call the property manager to get access to your room etc. Make sure to call the property ahead of time to get information about your room# and access code to your room/building. Will certainly stay there again next time in Montreal!
