Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
Upon my arrival front desk informed me that there are no “covered self parking”available & I was given only one option to park in a unsafe city parking lot that I had to walk 7-10 minutes on a cold windy night to get to & then come back again waking another 10mins back to Hotel. The whole reason I booked at Hotel Faubourg was because of the convince of having a parking spot at the hotel not in a public parking lot with no safety when car theft are at its highest in Montreal.
I was not happy to hear that & requested cancellation on the spot & was very disappointed when the receptionist did not even bother to offer any other options to accommodate or help me to maybe change my mind.
This caused last minute search for another hotel in the area with indoor/on site parking, on a night that city was very busy with a Hockey event.
If your hotel does not have enough parking spots guests need to be notified so we can look into other hotels with more parking options.
