"A truly beautiful house and grounds, typical of the region. Good sized rooms, plenty of showers etc., well equipped mitchen and room for all 12 of us to eat, inside and out. The pool was a really good size and was cleaned half way through the week. The area is enchanting. Vianne is 5 minues away and has all enough local shops for top-up shopping. "We had such a lovely time staying in this huge chateau. Very peaceful and simply a wonderful place to relax with our family. It is a little unusual in rural France to come across a holiday house with really high quality bathrooms / fittings etc. Please note, a few of the rooms don't have shutters / dark curtains which may or may not be important. "This is a quiet place in Montreal, Gers, which could be really nice but is just OK. Very good price for the beginning of high season (~ USD 50/night) Reception is open limited hours, but they can give you a code to open the gate and leave your towels and keys out for you if arriving late. "Wonderful gite with a fabulous private garden and pool. Perfect for the two of us. "

"We arrived at 1pm and ended up waiting outside the property for 3 hours before we could check in despite the sign on the door saying reception was open from 2pm. There was nobody around to help us and nobody to answer the phone when we called. The property itself was ok but very basic and there was bugs in the room. There is nothing at the complex in terms of anywhere to get any food / drink and everywhere is a drive away. The swimming pool was also disappointing and quite dirty."

"I was extremely pleased with hotel de college! Beautiful hotel, well appointed room, very happy with the thermal baths right next door. My room also had a mini kitchen which was fantastic as a great to go kitchen basically across the street(and I was by myself doing the gr 65). I hate hotels who don't let you open the windows so this was also a plus. Best night of my trip so far!"

"What a lovely house and fantastic grounds and pool for a great family holiday. We wanted a rural french experience and that's exactly what we got. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend!"

"Charming hotel but definitely not for the English speaking traveler. Hotel staff (the night we checked in) was unable/unwilling to assist us in securing a taxi, so we ended up leaving after just one (out of our non-refundable two!) night. Overall, disappointed with our experience. "

"The meals were expensive and were the same every night. Would struggle if staying more than 3 nights due to limited choice. Outdoor pool was not heated so extremely cold for swimming Indoor pool was fabulous with adjoining sauna and steam rooms but would work out very expensive at 22 euros for 2 hours. Not something to afford every day of the stay!"
