Very nice apartment, in an 18th century mansion in the old Montpellier, the apartment has been completely renovated, honoring the historic character of the building while offering modern luxury. Very spacious (82m2) and bright, this apartment offers a high-quality, fitted American kitchen, a welcoming living / dining room with old-fashioned high ceilings (4.5m high) with living room, 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and a sofa bed (possibility of an additional sofa bed in the living room), a luxurious bathroom with bath and walk-in shower.
In the pedestrian city center, located between a church and a museum, the apartment is quiet while being close to restaurants, museums and shops, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of the city, day and evening. It is less than 10 minutes' walk from Montpellier train station, 15 minutes by taxi / car from the airport, or 3 minutes from the various tram lines, allowing you to explore the city and access the beaches. of the mediterranean. A wonderful apartment
This is a wonderful apartment: spacious, light, good temperature control (including openable windows), spacious kitchen & bathroom (great shower), comfortable bed, wonderful location, with nearby church bells the icing on the cake. Tom, our greeter and helper, was wonderful and Ward, the owner, a very responsive background host. Our only suggestion would be cushions on the dining chairs and a firm-back armchair. So much to see and do, in and around charming Montpellier, and bliss to flaneur in pedestrian-only streets!

Spectacular!
The apartment is even better in real life than in the pictures, truly beautiful. With all its huge windows the Great Room is filled with light, and with all the character of its period architectural features needs no further decoration. It is also a well-equipped home, not a minimally equipped rental, with a real kitchen that has everything you need for real cooking. As for the dining table of re-purposed ancient wood, just wow! Made us feel like lords of the manor. Good beds, good linens, good bathroom with the luxury of a tub. Excellent location in the historic centre within walking distance of the best bakery, the best charcuterie, the best market, the Musée Fabre and so many other historic buildings. As good as it gets for two people, though for three the upstairs bedroom is so low-ceilinged as to be a bit of a menace. But that's a quibble. We spent two wonderful months in this wonderful apartment, and would go back tomorrow.

We loved the huge, high, stone-floored main room: its dramatic simplicity, good equipment and comfortable furniture and heating. The bedroom small but with plenty of cupboard space and bright reading lights. Bathroom stylish, good shower. The quiet location near the Musee Fabre and the Esplanade suited us perfectly as we walked everywhere from there. Communication with Lorenzo a bit hit or miss mainly due to languages--we thank him for carrying our heavy bag up the stairs.

Overall amazing!
I traveled for 10-days for work to Montpellier and I could not have asked for a better place to stay! The apartment was clean, well equipped, very spacious and gorgeous. The location can not be beat - centrally locates and close to everything. Yet it was so quiet and secure. I will definitely stay again upon my return to Montpellier.

We enjoyed our two-month stay in this beautiful apartment very much. We loved the modern feel of the apartment. It was wonderful to be able to walk to everything in less than 10 minutes. The historic center is lovely and lively -plenty of places to eat and drink and people watch. The apartment was clean and quiet (except one night there was a party above us - nothing earplugs couldn't handle). The kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of linens, towels, etc. The property manager, Lorenzo, was wonderfully welcoming and quick to respond. Note that the second bedroom is up a steep, narrow staircase, and has a small door because of the sloping ceiling, so not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues or for young kids. But the bed is comfy and there is plenty of closet space. The sofa can be used as a bed as well. The main living/dining area is quite large and bright with all the windows. Thank you for a terrific stay!

Very chic
We had a wonderful 6 days staying in this Montpellier VRBO. The apartment is all it seems in the pictures-- it has a well-stocked kitchen and beautiful Euro ambiance. One caveat, however, for the older crowd: there are many stone steps up to the apartment. This makes sense when you realize how high the ceilings are, but this feature should be made clear to potential guests. Also, the upper bedroom is not suitable for anyone who would have to get up during the night-- little children or adults. Ward, the owner, was very easy to contact and responsive to all emails. We hope to return soon!

Parfait!
Exactly what we had hoped. We spent 5 nights (6 days) in Montpellier and the apartment was everything we had hoped. VERY spacious, ideally located for walking/trams, near lots of cafes/boulangeries, etc. and with splendid character. Apartment was spotless when we arrived and provided plenty of space for our family of 4 (2 parents, 3 yr-old, 13 mo-old). Loft bedroom has precarious staircase to climb, and floors are stone, which is not so ideal for infants learning to walk. We didn't even need the loft room, though, as large living room has sofa bed which was more than sufficient and bedroom offers ample space. Living room very bright, large windows for lots of sun. Kitchen and bath have everything anyone would need. Overall, HIGHLY recommend this as a base for those couples or families visiting this very charming city/area. WE. WILL. BE. BACK. :) Alex

Wonderful apartment In great location
What more could you ask for in an historic city. This restored, architectural gem(1842) with 18’ ceilings is light-filled spacious, stylish, and perfect for a long stay. The kitchen area is new & well-equipped—perfect for cooking & entertaining with fresh produce from the local market, Les Halles (7 days a week); a large, comfortable bathroom with gorgeous tub and shower—excellent hot water supply; the bedroom has oversized closets, comfortable bed, and good supply of linen; loft (2nd) bedroom cozy but ok for short visit. Location is great—a 1 min stroll to Museé Fabre ( must see), the tree-lined Esplanade Charles de Gaulle, Place de la Comédie, the Opera Comedie & Corum for concerts, endless French schools, cafe’s, & shops. Above all it is very quiet as it is tucked behind a church. Best cappuccinos and lattes in town at Extra Shot, just steps away from the apartment. We stayed a month, loved it, and highly recommend it. We have travelled extensively and I can say Lorenzo the apt’s guardian angel has been professional, prompt, charming, and conscientious, not to mention a very likeable young man. On a late, very stormy, night of arrival, he came to meet our taxi with an umbrella and take us to the apt. He has offered on numerous occasions to drive us during the train strike. When we ran out of supplies, he brought us some from his home until he could purchase them at the store. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Spacious and Comfortable
We stayed in this amazing apartment for 5 nights. The location can’t be beat for quick walks to the train station for day trips. The bathroom, kitchen, living room, and bedroom have been appointed with top quality fittings that made our stay comfortable (the BR was very quiet) I also appreciated the lighting in the apartment because it illuminated the architecture of the space. The kitchen had everything needed for a meal or snack, but there are unlimited dining options surrounding us. I would happily stay here again while in Montpelier.

Not clean at all
The apartment has so Much to Offer, it is a real pitty that the concierge does not keep it clean, when we got there, i had to wash the sheets because the bad smell did not let us sleep, it looks like the previous guest made the bed and the keeper did Not even bother to wash them before we arrived, the barhroom was filthy, I also had to wash it, the kitchen utensils were no exception, and the keepers excuse was, that the maid was not so good.. That is no excuse at all!! Besides this, the shower drain was clogged, and the first day we spent half day mopping and taking water out, the keeper finally showed up at 8.30pm.. We strongly suggest the very nice owner to change the keeper, so the very well refurbished flat delivers all it can, it is well located, very close to everything..

Eine fantastische Woche in einer fantastischen Wohnung
Wir waren Mitte April, um Ostern herum, für eine Woche in Montpellier und hatten eine großartige Zeit, was nicht zuletzt an der modern & geschmackvoll eingerichteten und gut gelegenen Wohnung lag. Trotz ihrer zentralen Lage in der östlichen Altstadt am Musée Fabre war es nachts sehr ruhig, sodass wir hervorragend schlafen konnten. In knapp 10' ist man zudem am Bahnhof und in nur wenigen Minuten in Antigone. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und jederzeit erreichbar. Ein Besuch in Montpellier mit einem Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Découvrir Montpellier et sa région
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 2 semaines; la location est parfaite pour découvrir la vieille ville de Montpellier, et la région (Sète, Nîmes, Avignon, Béziers), les plages. L'appartement est parfait pour une famille de 4 personnes, la chambre du haut est difficile d'accès mais le canapé lit dans le salon est confortable. Agréable séjour
On a passé un très bon séjour au centre de Montpellier. Magnifique appartement, très agréable et propre. Facile d'accès. Petit bémol pour une des chambres dont l'hauteur n'est pas très haute. Et la rue n'est pas très agréable le soir, des personnes y restent jusque tard.
