We enjoyed chatting with Pamela and Michael, who were both very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed trips to Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, St Emillion, the cartoon museum in Angoulême and Blaye. "

"We had a wonderful holiday, the perfect blend between out-and-about every day to local markets and towns, lunches, wine and chilled beers in shady squares. Kayaking expedition back to Aubeterre-sur-Dronne. The farmhouse is a wonderful base from which to explore from. Then, after a day out, returning to enjoy the pool (which is magnificent). The pizza oven was awesome and we had great success in making our own pizzas from scratch. So successful in fact that I now need to buy one for home. The farmhouse, with all its facilities, is perfect for all ages from teens (table tennis and pool table - a great hit) to board games for little ones. There are plenty of outside spaces to enjoy whatever time of day, whether it's poolside or at the front to see the rolling views and sunsets. The contact (Jackie) during our stay was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble when we needed assistance for different things. The welcome to the property was made delightful by a variety of food and a bottle of wine, so we did indeed feel most welcomed. We would definitely book again if returning to the area."
