"They were flexible about us arriving later than stated. Set in a lovely olive grove. Apartment was cool, mosquito nets, Aircon in 1 room. Kitchen small, 1 person only, and needs more equipment, or at least kitchen knives. Loved the barbeque and outside shower. The host asked for cash for sheets / linen and aircon use upfront , even tho it was not listed in the details on VRBO, but when we pointed that out they quickly repaid so no problem. "This house really is a hidden gem. The property is very spacious and set amongst beautiful grounds full of olive trees with stunning panoramic views. There is plenty of outdoor space and ping pong and table football and a BBQ. The beach is a modest walk or cycle to the beach and a very short drive into the town which really comes alive in the evening. "Giovanni and Rosa were wonderful hosts, even though they were in the middle of the olive harvest. The apartment is quite large, and the kitchen was one of the best equipped we've experienced. The rooftop terrace has an incredible view of the sunset over Lago di Varanno. It's a bit of drive to some of the other areas (e.g. the beautiful coastline south of Vieste), but that's true of most places on the peninsula because of the limited number of roads, most of which are quite narrow and twisty....

"Domenico nous a accueillis avec le sourire malgré notre arrivée tardive et nous a toujours demandé si tout se passait bien. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le logement était très propre et très bien équipé, il est très bien situé par rapport aux différents lieux à visiter (Vieste, Forêt Umbra..). Je recommande !"
