"This beautiful property is a 20 minute drive from the closest town (Ecole d'Elsa) but was perfect for day trips to wineries, medieval towns, Cinqueterre/Pisa and authentic restaurants. Drives into town were fun with wonderful interactions with the locals at butcher shops and bakeries. The housekeeper was delightful and very helpful with excellent recommendations for dining out."

"Schlichtwegs die Kissen und die Betten stinken ! Nicht schön für die Nächte. Der Einhandmischer im Bad ist kaputt und wurde nicht gerichtet. Warmwasser eine Glückssache. Ansonsten ist die Anlage schön und der Pool gut. Der Manager Christian ist perfekt, immer ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit."

"Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war gut, obwohl wir ihn erst zur Abfahrt persönlich getroffen haben. Bei Ankunft stellten wir fest, dass ein Zimmer belegt war und nicht wie bei FE-Wo de beschrieben, 4 Zimmer zur Verfügung standen. Das war aber das einzige, was wir zu bemängeln haben. Das Haus ist gemütlich, mit modernen Duschen, Klimaanlage und Ventilator eingerichtet, wofür wir bei 37 Grad sehr dankbar waren. Im Außenbereich kann man sich gut aufhalten. Parken ist auch möglich. "Everything was great. The pool was warm. Views are fantastic stretching out to the sea. The town has a good supermarket. Only went to one restaurant, Dell'Upo, but it was good so went back most nights. The hosts were helpful and informative. Planning a return."

"We have travelled extensively through Europe for the past 2 years and the Villa del Sole has to be one of the best and amazing hotel we have ever stayed in. Staff was sooooooo friendly and helpful. Even showed us the easiest and best way to get to the Piazza del Campo without going up and down the hills, lol. Breakfast was great, good selection. The best, mind blowing view of Siena you will find. We want to thank everyone for the friendly and generous service that was offered. We are definitely coming back! "
