OTHER HELPFUL INFORMATION
WEATHER - We are located in Dry Valley. You will not find this on any map or weather app. Monticello, UT is the closest town with weather service and sits at 7000 feet above sea level. Moab, UT is the second town worth looking at, but sits at 4000 feet. The glampground sits at 6000 feet. Typically we are 3-5 degrees warmer than Monticello and 6-10 degrees cooler than Moab.

WIFI - Strong Wifi is available around the communal spaces. The Pod, Mountain Tent and Mesa Tent typically gets good Wifi but the others are too far to reach.

SAUNA – Available to our guests for $5.00 a session. You can make an appointment when you arrive.

WATER - We haul 400 gallons of water at a time so we ask everyone is water smart. Plus, this is a desert where we should be consider anyways.

ELECTRICITY - The only unit that has electricity is The Skylight Casita. All tents and Cedar Pod DO NOT have electricity. We provide battery packs to charge your phone and solar string lights. The bathrooms and kitchen do not have outlets. There is solar power to run these buildings but not to run any personal appliances. We have limited Jackery Power Stations to rent to run a laptop and a CPAP. We have a VERY limited supply so if you are interested in one, please email us. There is no guarantee we will have one available. They rent between $25-$50 per day (depending on the size of the unit).

FIRES - The only fires allowed on the glampsite are campfires. No smoking of any kind allowed. However, we do allow smoking in the parking lot or in your vehicle.
*If there is a county fire band, no fires will be allowed. You may reach out to ask if there is one.

PETS – No pets allowed.

HEATING/COOLING – Each tent has a small portable heater but you will need to bring 1lb propane tanks. We do sell them if you do not bring any with you. 1 tank lasts around 2 hours on high or 5 hours on low. We provide duck down comforters and extra blankets so once you are in bed, you will be warm. Rarely does anyone complain about being cold while sleeping. There is no AC but we do provide small fans in the summer (June-Aug).
COMING SOON, THE SKYLIGHT CASITA will have solar power and will have an AC unit. This unit will have outlets, lights, a kettle and a mini fridge.

COMPLEMENTARY COFFEE/TEA DELIVERY – Coffee and tea delivery service every morning free of charge when requested.

BREAKFAST, ALCOHOL AND SNACKS – Available for purchase between 9am-7pm daily.

LIMITED LIGHTING - To help preserve our night sky, we do not have a lot of lighting around the glampsite. A headlamp or flashlight when first arriving will help find your way. Once here, there is a lantern inside your tent and solar pathway lights.

QUIET HOURS - 10:00pm - 6:00am.

ANIMALS – We have 2 14 year old dogs (Crow and Raven) and free-range chickens. They may come greet you or follow you to your accommodation.

TOURS/ACTIVITIES – We are always on the lookout for local activities and tours. Please find our current offerings on our website or on our tour board upon arrival.
TUBES – These are available June-Aug. There are 3 lakes in the Abajo Mountains and 1 large Reservoir in Blanding, all within a 30 min drive. Tubes are available at no cost.
ASTRONOMY TOURS - Twice a month a local astronomy comes to the glamping site with an amazing telescope. You will learn about constellations, planets, dead stars and much more. Paid event. Tickets can be purchased on our website.

SUGGESTED PACKING ITEMS – Slippers, warm socks and beanies as desert nights are chilly. Check our Visitor Guide on our website for more suggestions.

Stargazing - Bring a telescope if you have one as the night sky is one of the best features of this property! No obstructions so you will have clear views of the brilliant sky. We recommend downloading The SkyView Lite app and The Moon app. This will help you determine a full night of stars or the moon cycle (weather permitting).
There is usually highway noise but around 11pm, it slows down.

Weekend Getaway
My partner and I got spent an amazing weekend getaway that we had planned.. Glamping was just perfect on a full moon weekend.. The set up was amazing with all the cute little details.. Breakfast in bed, an amazing bed and decorations, available wood and propane for the little chilly nights. Property is amazing. Close to Moab and Canyonlands. We were able to do some hikes each day which were all beautiful. Monticello is just 15 minutes away to run to town for needs. Will definitely making this a yearly trip and excited to see all the added additions happening..

Peaceful getaway
These canvas tents were a perfect getaway from the city. Keep in mind that the property is about 45 mins from both Canyonlands, and Moab, so youll have to plan accordingly. The views were stunning and the hosts were helpful and kind to us.

Wonderful Experience!
We arrived after dark only because we spent so much time at Dead Horse Point. Would’ve liked to hang out on our little porch and watch the sunset but we’ll do that next time! Made a fire and enjoyed the night air before turning in early to hike Arches the next morning. Tent was clean, adorable and included everything we could possibly need! Left before sunrise in order to get to Arches before the crowds but would’ve enjoyed coffee in our Adirondack chairs. Again, next time! Would love to come back!

Fantastic First Glamping Experience!
We had an awesome time! The stars at night looked very big and bright! Later the moon came out! It was all magical! Keshia was very accommodating and we greatly enjoyed chatting with her about traveling the world! Thanks for changing my husband's mind about driving in New Zealand! 😄 The place is super nice and had everything we could think of. Waking up to the hot cocoa on our doorstep was such a sweet touch! I loved the thunder, lightning and rain early in the morning! It made the experience with nature even more special. The place is close to the southern portion of Canyonlands NP and the drive to it is very scenic. I wish we could have stayed longer. I hope to bring my girl friends next time! Thanks, Keshia, for the very special and memorable experience!

Wish We Had A Longer Stay!
We rolled up on a rainy night - I was slightly nervous we wouldn't be able to find the property with spotty WiFi & darkness but it ended up being a breeze! Entering the tent for the first time, your jaw drops. It is absolutely gorgeous. You can see how much love & attention goes into this property. They thought of everything! The communal bathroom was very clean & after a long day of hiking, that hot shower was everything. Having coffee delivered to our door step was such a surprise! I'm a tea drinker myself but my boyfriend said it was delicious. My only regret was not spending more than one night on this amazing property. Don't make the same mistake! :) We'll be back in hopes to have clear skies for stargazing & just to fully enjoy the experience this couple has provided.

AMAZING experience. Absolutely exceptional!!!
First of all, Keshia is the SWEETEST human being you will ever meet. My sister and I (ages 20 & 24) were traveling alone, and she made us feel super safe and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, with views of the mountain from every angle. Everything was very clean and they had everything you would need, except for food. There is a grocery store in Moab that we stopped at on our way (about 45-50 mins from property). Bed was amazingly comfortable and tent was decorated so nicely. There's a campfire, picnic table, and chairs right outside the tent, so you have privacy and your own space far away from other campers. Would definitely recommend and return if I'm ever in the area. This is an ideal location for couples-very cozy and romantic! (when you're not with your sister! haha) Thank you for an amazing stay! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fun Experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glamping Canyonlands! The hosts were very clear and transparent about their accommodations which I appreciated. The tents were clean and decked out with everything you need! We wanted a camp experience for our Parks trip instead of a hotel. This place is adorable!! If you book, there are a few things to know (not bad at all): - it's a little over an hour into Moab/Arches NP. The drive is quick and scenic, but after a very long day in Arches, it was tough to still have a 45 min drive back to our site. However, SUPER easy to get to Canyonlands NP. - this is the PERFECT place if you're looking for a camping experience while visiting the National Parks, but don't want to lug all of your camp gear, set up camp, etc. It gives you the total experience without all of the trouble! - I wish we had spent more time on site to enjoy the campfire, cook, soak in the quiet of the location. This is the perfect place if you want to spend some time between the parks and maybe a day/evening on site soaking in the camp feel. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for this type of experience. It gets you a fun camp experience while still getting a hot shower, good coffee, a comfortable bed, and a beautiful view!

A Beautiful Campsite
This was a gorgeous, well thought-out space with more thoughtful touches than I can list! The bed was comfortable, the tent was clean and cute, and the bathroom is clean. There was even a kitchen tent for folks who chose to cook their meal! When we stayed, it was very cold. Thankfully, there are extra blankets available and propane heaters in the tent that do a good job of taking the edge off. There are extras you can purchase on site (propane for the heaters, wood for the fire pit, etc.) and I'd recommend it! The hosts were amazingly friendly, communicative, and helpful. The local cows were friendly and made some guest appearances (but it didn't smell like a cow pasture), and you're only about 40 minutes from Moab. If you're looking for a unique place to stay, look no further! (Just remember to bring your own soap and maybe even more blankets)

STAY HERE!❤️
If you are wanting to explore Moab for the first time, come stay here! This place is soo cute and just so beautiful. The hosts are the nicest people ever. Best people we’ve met since being in Utah! The host Took the time show us around and just get to know us. Very personal able people. Anyways, the place is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an adventure! If you’re hesitant because it’s a little outside of Moab,DONT! Driving away from town and coming back to a quiet paradise is just what you need after a long hike. I love how we could make dinner in one of the yurts. If you’ve never done camping, this is a great place to learn. Glamping have everything you need! I am coming back here and bringing more people. Keysha is awesome because she is quick to answering your questions. And has a lovely smile that’s very welcoming.

Beautiful, breathtaking stay
We stayed here for 2 nights while coming to check out Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park, and the town of Moab. This was my first glamping experience and the tent was so clean and cozy, along with the bathrooms. The decorations and how much the hosts cared about detail made this experience so cool. At night, the sky was clear and we could see the Milky Way!! Something I never thought I would be able to see. I would absolutely recommend this place to any one, and hope to be back again! Thank you!
