About this property

Solar Powered Casita with 2 beds and a comfy seating area overlooking a peaceful desert setting

Our custom made casita has been thoughtfully built and designed by us for those looking for that extra glamping comfort. 8 skylights line the roof to make the most of sky watching and stargazing. Our only solar powered unit has AC/heat, outlets, a mini fridge and a kettle. This unit can sleep up to 4 guests with a king bed, a queen bed in the loft, a cozy couch, large dining table and large windows. Adirondack Chairs, hammock swings and a porch swing wrap around the 3 sides of the private deck.

The Skylight Casita is a first of it's kind for us! It gets its name for the 8 skylights that line the roof of this casita. Lay in your king bed to watch the clouds go by or stargaze in the evenings. A queen bed in the loft is available for those not wanting to share a bed or for families of 4. A cozy seating area with a couch and 2 chairs and a large dining table to eat, play board games or do some work. A mini fridge and kettle with teas, hot chocolate and instant coffee are available to you. 2 very large windows overlook the property for amazing views of the La Sal Mountains and mesas. A large private deck wraps around 3 sizes with Adirondack Chairs, hammock swings and a porch swing.

This is our only unit that is solar powered so it has outlets and AC and heating.
Board games and books are available for some indoor activities.

SUGGESTED PACKING ITEMS – Slippers, warm socks and beanies as desert nights are chilly. Check our Visitor Guide on our website for more suggestions.
