"The Abbaye is a great venue with amazing views of the lake and is so peaceful. We had a fabulous room with views of the lake and mountains, long balcony, comfortable bed everythingyou need in the room. The staff were great helpful and approachable. The Spa facilities are good we had it to ourselves as this is out of season. We had a lovely 4 day stay. "

"Excellent location. Excellent value for money. The best 2 bartenders in the world (shoutout to George and Freddie for the exceptional service and sharing yoir drink making artistry!). Nice to be able to book a private 30 min hot tub (would be great if it was a touch hotter and a little less bubbly!) the themed dinner nights were excellent and the food very good. We opted for the half board which was excellent value (even considering we opted for one night out at Les Coursives in Meribel village which was the best French food I’ve ever tasted!). Suggest a kettle in the dining room for those of us who like scalding hot tea :) The rooms were big and the beds comfy. Our room had carpet which I personally hate. The lounge was kitschy and cool and had just the right feel before and apres ski. Loved the combo of old charm and low tech with all you need for a delightful stay and this quirky spot. Would definitely come back. "

"Our arrival was smooth and we had a fantastic room on the 4th floor where we could lie in bed and look at the snow all the way up to Saulire. In the morning we were out onto the Jardin Alpine and can ski right back to the hotel"

"Very charming and well cared for boutique hotel with a nice Spa - able to book for an hour (so never crowded). Beautiful patio, and terrace with our room. Had a very comfortable 4 night stay. Went skiing and hiking- lots of options. For dining and shopping just check opening days/hours. "
