"Jean and Catherine were wonderful hosts for our 3-night stay at this wonderful Chateau in the heart of the Beaujolais wine region. They went out of their way to answer all our questions and secure us dinner reservations and even arranged a wine tasting on-site for us. Run by a beautiful, generous couple that make you feel at home from the instant you arrive, you feel as though you are a member of the family and a welcome house guest. "Absolute hidden gem for visiting Lyon. The pictures are spot on. More space than one might hope for. Unusual property in that it’s tucked behind an apartment building. But once inside, you feel transported. The host Sissi was communicative and incredibly helpful. Would recommend this stay to anyone. We look forward to coming back!"

A good spot in Lyon

"While a little "worn around the edges", this hotel is very pleasant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bed comfort is very good. We discovered a good bistro down the road - the midi-minuit - which actually closes at 10:30 (bizarre given the name). Looked at Georges bistro but was overcrowded and too noisy. If you arrive late, parking is free in the street. "
