Attractive rooms and attentive desk staff. Gym is not adequate, pool is small, and dinning room has odd meal choices. We enjoyed our stay but would like to see the dinning room offer better selections and the gymn offer better equipment.

Loved everything about this hotel. Starting from the lobby, to the room, the roof bar, everything was exceptional. Love the staff too. So helpful and welcoming. I planned my timing wrong so I was in Montevideo when the city is totally empty and quiet but I considered extending my stay just because of the hotel. That is how good it was!

A very nice hotel which for us were the service and cleaning personnel thanks to all the front office for making our stay so welcome. Our biggest disappointment was the top-floor dining. As everywhere the service was excellent but we did not find the food much to our liking. Even so, we will recommend HM to our friends. Allen & Moe Wittenborn

we requested extended checkout and we’re told on check-in that it wouldn’t be problem if we asked in the morning. The desk staff in the am did not immediately honor our request and it required insisting to get the time we requested even though we had agreed to pay extra. The pool area is nice but quite small. Hotel is walking distance from small restaurants and the shopping mall—very convenient.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was convenient. While the hotel offered an excellent overall experience, the breakfast selection could have been more varied. Despite this minor drawback, I would highly recommend this accommodation.

This hotel is very nice and in a good location. It has an amazing rooftop bar and friendly staff. We booked the family room which had an amazing balcony. It is the best 5 star hotel that feels like a city hotel but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel like home.

The property is quietly situated in a residential neighborhood that is a close walk to the beach. We sat out on the balcony having a drink before dinner and the scene reminded me of Europe. The staff was very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. We dined at the hotel restaurant on consecutive nights and on both occasions we had the pleasure of Nicolaus guiding us through the menu, inserting suggestions of what wine would go best with the desired entre. You cant go wrong with the beef, but an unknown and delight was the local fish called Corovina. Thank you Nicolaus for expanding our taste buds and sharing a local fare that we would have not otherwise tried.
