The farmhouses are completely separate and have extensive private outdoor areas and are equipped with barbeque and garden furniture. The owner has erected an open air museum in the communal park with his own sculptures. There is also a large communal room available to guests which is suitable for courses or dinners. Dinner and excursions can be arranged on request. There's also a second partial covered and heated swimming pool (measures 3x9) for shared use, open the all year around. Country house "Le Querciolaie". 8 km from the centre of Castagneto Carducci, in a quiet position, 20 km from the sea, in the countryside. For shared use: park (fenced), swimming pool (16 x 8 m, seasonal availability: 04.Jun. - 30.Sep.). Outdoor shower, garden furniture, barbecue. In the complex: WiFi, washing machine (for shared use). Parking on the premises. Shop 1 km, restaurant 1 km, sandy beach 19 km. Nearby attractions: Bolgheri 25 km, Volterra 40 km. Please note: Loading and unloading of baggage is possible at the holiday house.

Toscansk idyl
Boscaiolo er et fantastisk hus midt i de Toscanske bjerge. Kort afstand til pools og simpel restaurant på stedet. Personalet er utrolig hjælpsomme og har du interesse for kunst er der masser af inspiration, både inde og ude. Der er køligt om natten, så en aircondition er helt unødvendig. Køreturen ned/op af bjerget er ikke egnet for personer med hang til køresyge. Vi havde en dejlig ferie på stedet.

Vorfreude leider nicht erfüllt
Wir hatten für eine Woche das Haus „Boscaiolo“ gemietet. Bei Ankunft gegen 17 Uhr war das Haus noch nicht gereinigt. Der Zustand des Hauses war nicht gut. Mehrere Lampen funktionierten nicht. Der Kühlschrank roch streng, war sehr alt und für 7 Personen viel zu klein. Die Küche war voller Ameisen. Die Ausstattung war unzureichend, bspw. nur 3 Kaffetassen. Das Ausklapp-Doppelbett war alt und durchgelegen. Die Badezimmer waren in einem gepflegten Zustand. Ebenso toll waren die beiden Pools.

Enttäuschte Erwartungen
Die Ankunft war enttäuschend. Für 1500 Euro pro Woche haben wir mehr erwartet. Mäßiger Ausstattungsstandard, “Feldbetten“, alter, fast ekliger Kühlschrank (Tür ist sogar abgefallen), keine Mikrowelle, W-Lan nur am Pool, kein Fernseher, unterirdisches Licht bei dunklen Räumen, Ameisenstraßen durch die Küche. Fön, eigene Waschmaschine u. Bügeleisen wären schön gewesen. Liegestühle gab es nur zwei. Kein Haus für 7. Wenig Geschirr und Besteck, Gläser waren unappetitlich, blind. Max. 2 Sterne

Für Künstlerherzen
Das Haus ist wunderbar für Menschen, die Kunst lieben. Die ganze Anlage ist voll von Skulpturen. 50m vom Haus gibt es einen gedeckten Swimmingpool. Dieses ist ein Thermenbad mit einer Wassertemperatur von über 36°C —> wunderbar am frühen Morgen baden zu gehen. Entgegen der Beschreibung gibt es kein W-LAN im Haus, sondern nur unten beim Thermalbad. Achtung. Das Haus ist bei schlechtem Wetter im Wohnbereich sehr dunkel, dafür wohl im Sommer sehr kühl.

Great place, super people, swiming pools very good , clean water, hot water in small pool, swiming pools open 4 hours, great food, amazing views, house amazing like traditional Tuscany, near to the city, everything top notch.... 10/10.
