"We had a great time at Pierre's lovely converted barn in Sonac. The kitchen area was excellent - very well equipped, which made it easy to cater for nine people. The pool area was absolutely perfect and a hit with everyone. The huge garden was well used by all, both of our dogs and the children. The rooms also comfortably accommodated everyone. Pierre was an excellent host who made us very welcome. We'd love to return."

"Overall one of the best properties we have rented in France. Beautiful gardens, completely private and not overlooked, at the end of a private road with views over the fields which are stunning. The pool is amazing, heated and had a deep part on the centre but not around the edge, (so you could stand at the edge easily). "Outside is beautiful - frontage & roof are perfect - but inside is disappointing. A gite standard of years ago. Loved the location - nice rustic, rural, old bread oven house in a beautiful area but basic shower & kitchen NO INTERNET (Description said it had Internet) & just French TV channels. There is not a Visitor/Guest book. Owner very friendly, welcoming and helpful. "

"This is a lovely house, gorgeous character and charm to it and the size of the outside space is fantastic. The location is rural, car is an absolute must. Down a lane and in the middle of some lovely trees, you can walk to the local baker if you go down the lane and into the little ravine and back out the other side. But you can’t pop anywhere from here, so great if you want to be away from it all. Property was fine for our little ones but likely better for slightly bigger kids - the pool isn’t...
