"The house is very comfortable and has everything you need for your stay, with several shops and supermarkets close by to stock up on groceries etc. Location wise, it’s perfectly situated to visit all the towns and beaches that the area has to offer. Renting a car is a must to explore the area. Emiliano (the host) and his son were fantastic in giving advice of places to visit and see and made our stay very comfortable. Any questions we had they were happy to answer. We can’t wait to come back...

"This is a beautiful house in the peaceful countryside and completely private. It is situated just over 2km from the centre of Martano. The house is spacious and well equipped and the outdoor terraces were perfect for sunbathing and meals. "Basic house with well documented issues with shower problems. Quiet location although you can hear people moving and talking in the adjoining villa. The swimming pool was beautiful but cold, and in a beautiful well kept garden. Salvatore and Rosie were extremely welcoming and gave very useful local advice, as well as providing us with an excellent Apulian meal."

Allerdings sind einige Angaben in der Beschreibung schlichtweg falsch: Der Strand von Pescoluse ist niemals in Gehminuten erreichbar. Zu Fuß benötigt man mindestens eine Stunde. In 20 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß den Strand von Torre Pali. Da man nach einem Bad im Meer, den Aufstieg lieber vermeidet, mussten wir doch meistens das Auto nutzen. Für uns war...
