"What I liked was location walking distance to beach and a few restaurants. What I didn’t like is I would like some dining or breakfast accommodations at the resort in the event it’s raining and you don’t want to walk down to the other dining options. Small market nearby as well. "

"I was so happy with my stay at VilaBranca. I was travelling solo and had a 1 bdrm apartment. It was on the edge of the complex, the patio overlooked a treed area where i heard birds chirping all day, it was lovely, so peaceful. The apartment was immaculately clean and i had everything i needed including dishes, utensils, corkscrew and kettle. I also used the washing machine and drying rack. Right around the corner was a small market and about 20mins walk was a huge supermarket. There were grear restaurants within a few mins walk and it was less than €4 each time i wanted to go anywhere. The pools were very clean and the restaurant staff and front desk staff were all very nice and professional. 100% recommend"

"We are regulars 2x year spring autumn and as usual we got a warm welcome from friendly professional staff -really nice room excellent view over pool and property generally uninterrupted as far as sea !sunny balcony from quite early in morning until afternoon -Atlantico breakfast buffet again outstanding and very well managed leading to efficient sevice . We had dinner in Adega -x2-Whale -Arte Nautica and Praia Dourada all of which were excellent in different ways -only disappointment was Giardino (sp?) where we found service a bit chaotic -lots of people but not many doing much !Menu is actually quite limited -I had excellent vitello tonnato and pasta amatriciana -but very slow -which seemed to be a common experience from where we were sitting -my wife was disappointed in her pizza margarita -quite thick crust but not really crispy -which was odd as she had excellent pizza from Whale earlier in the week -as food seems to come out of same kitchen difficult to understand ! We used Garden Terrace for lunch -Rita was excellent -she managed to get Falaffel salad reinstated for my wife after it had been removed in menu changes from last few times !She is a gem ! We also had lunch a number of times on Terrace -its a familiar team now and very reliable for both food and service -Sam and his colleagues continue to provide an oustanding experience for both pre post dinnner drinks Finally the hotel did a great job in managing the power outage that occurred -thoroughly professional !"

"Amazing value and a beautiful luxurious hotel! The free breakfast was the best I’ve seen in Europe, the resort was beautiful and the room was large and comfortable. It is about a 5 minute walk from downtown Lagos. Can’t recommend it enough. "

"On arrival Matheus was very accommodating as we arrived early. He suggested keeping our luggage at the hotel. We did as soon as our room was ready he contacted us. Breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel and would consider staying there in the future. "

"I was here during a blackout, but the staff were very helpful in getting me to my room in the dark. The location is great: near to shops, restaurants, bars, ocean, etc., but on a nice quiet side street. "

"Wow, this is such a lovely hotel, I didn’t want to leave!!! First, the staff were incredible. Everyone made me feel welcome and right at home (especially Liliana). Second, my room was stunning! I got a Sea View room which I couldn’t recommend enough. It’s worth every penny extra. The bed was comfortable, the towels and bathrobes were plush, the patio furniture was cozy, I had a hard time going out during the days. 10/10 recommend getting a pizza and bottle of wine and enjoying them on your patio. Lastly, the amenities were so nice. Indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, steam, free breakfast! It had everything, even for a rainy day. Thank you for the best stay, I can’t wait to visit again :)"
