Take a step out of everyday life and enjoy some rest and relaxation at this cozy home on the lake nestled in the hills of The Berkshires.
Lay out on the docks, swim in the water, enjoy the foliage and unwind by the fireplace after a day of skiing! This place really has all the comforts anyone may need after a day spent enjoying the outdoors in The Berkshires.
Come see for yourself!
The home is an open floor plan lake house nestled in the beautiful hills of The Berkshires. The upstairs is an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining room, and living room that are all joined together by a fireplace that is the focal point of the space.
Each of the three bedrooms are cozy and have some storage space for your clothing and belongings. Beds are freshly made with sheets and blankets and have mattress and pillow protectors to keep things sanitary. There are trundle beds underneath the beds downstairs to accommodate young children.
The den / gameroom downstiars is the coziest of all the spaces in the house and is a great place to unwind and watch a movie on the TV or play a family board game. The coffee table downstairs folds out to accommodate a families worth of competitive players!
Lastly, the deck and outdoor space is truly the crown jewel of the home. The house is located on beautiful Lake Garfield and has two separate docks off the back decks to sunbath and swim in, as well as a few kayaks to explore in.
The entire house is available to all guests, only a few closets inside and out are off limits for storage.
We prefer to give guests the privacy. If something is needed beyond that we can be available to help out over phone call or FaceTime, but prefer to be offsite whenever possible. Of course special requests can be made ahead of time and we will do our best to accommodate.
A proper lake community. Neighbors are friendly and always happy to make new friends. The community is fairly lively during the day during the summer months, but allows for ample peace and quiet later in the day and especially quiet during the fall / winter / spring months.
Getting around the neighborhood is quite easy, although Lime Rock Lane is a dead end so make sure to exit the same way you come in!
Parking is suitable for one car in the road at the top of the driveway as well as two cars at the bottom of the driveway. The bottom of the driveway is tight so please be careful turning around and make sure to patiently pull out as the cars on the street come by somewhat blindly.
