"The Condo was perfect for 4 people. The location was right by the village with the best access to the slopes and lifts. The Condo was clean and offered several amenities. It is exactly what we wanted for a weekend of skiing and fun. The room is located right beside the kids play area, but we had no noise issues. My only complant was the staff members not being the friendliest (but they were still helpful, even if they hate their job). We cant wait to go back next year."

"My daughter and I stayed for a short break and it was fantastic. Super convenient! The building is a bit beat up but considering amount of water that gets tracked in and people wearing their ski boots one would expect that. We were able to look out the deck door and see how busy the slopes were. Absolutely loved being able to come in and take a break before going out and skiing more. "The small condo was a great stay as an affordable ski-in/ski-out location at Snowshoe. No issues with anything in the room. Ski rentals in the same building and a short bus stop ride to the village shops and restaurants. During the weekend nights the bar in the bottom of the building was very loud pretty late, it is directly below the unit. Unit was a little small but doable for 4 people, would be perfect for a two person stay."

Just a note for folks staying in the future, and this wouldn't impact the decision to stay here, but the listed mentioned soap/shampoo for the shower and some kitchen essentials, like salt, pepper, oil... there was no soap/shampoo, and only salt and pepper in the kitchen. "My mom, SIL, and I took a much needed three day weekend away to visit the Maple Festival and spend some girl time together. The Cabin at Back Creek is the perfect spot to do that. The proximity to the sites of the festival is perfect; we didn’t feel like we were in the car too long and the views along the drive are amazing.
