When we booked a deluxe room we thought it was a hotel but in actual fact it was a room in a shared apartment wihin a very private residential block. "Great location, bit of a walk but very much worth it. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. Property was a little tired in places but it just added to its rustic charm. Would recommend and defo visit again x"

"What an amazing place Vila Milreau is. Spotlessly clean, great, quiet pool area and really friendly owners. There’s a good little supermarket across the road, three really excellent, inexpensive restaurants and a small bar which can be found if you turn right at the church. If you need to get about Ubers are readily available and super cheap. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Miguel was extremely helpful at the reception. His English was excellent. We were able to store our bags in a safe location while we waited for an early checkin. The Historic region of Faro was a short walk away with shops, restaurants, historical buildings to visit. The room was small but updated with a comfortable bed. The community kitchen allows us to store and prepare food. I highly recommend this Guest house."

"Perfect for a 1 night stay transfering from airport to train. Short walk to great restaurants. Being from North America, the stairs were a bit steep but knew in advace and prepared for them. Very quiet place and clean. A bit tight for space, but didnt really need it. **Note it is cash only."

"Good size bedroom,with separate kitchen area. Each accommodation had their own patio area. Lovely bathroom products . Staff always available, as reception open until 11pm. Free tennis courts. Pool is very small."

"The property was very well situated in the Old Town. It was very clean. We know Tavira well and we were just looking for somewhere to lay our heads, so it was ideal. Some of the furnishings are now in need of an upgrade and a full length mirror and some cupboard space would have been nice, however, it met our needs. . "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was in an excellent location in a quiet area but also near the train station and the town. The hosts Cláudia and Luis have put a lot of time and effort into ensuring the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with freshly baked bread, homemade jam and good quality coffee. "Loved this gem in the middle of a tiny, charming town. Wonderful pool, great breakfast! Vivienne on the front desk is the sweetest, most helpful receptionist we’ve ever encountered. We were astounded that all staff members spoke English The site is perfectly placed in the middle of the Algarve coast. So you can explore in either direction."
