Montemor-o-Novo is an area and city located in the region of Alentejo, around 30 kilometers west of Évora, in Portugal.
Much more than just an Alentejo town, where traditional dishes fill the senses and delight our taste buds, where wine warms even the coldest souls, Montemor-o-Novo is a perfect peaceful mix between the past that built Portugal and the present which supports it. A town where battles were fought for the nation’s freedom, where heroes were born and left their mark in history, Montemor has kept itself hugely humble until today.
On top of the locality is the impressive Montemor-o-Novo Castle, accessed via Porta da Vila. From the elegant Relógio Tower, it is possible to have nice views over the ruins of the old Paço dos Alcaides Palace, formerly a royal residence, and the old city.
The villa is easily accessible by car.
The nearest railway station, Setúbal Station, is 87km away.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.
Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.
For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.
Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
