"We quite enjoyed our stay at Donato's flat in Salerno. It's located right on the edge of the historic district, an easy walk to everything. The sea walk is close by, as are the cathedral and Minerva's Garden. There are many many restaurants nearby. Communication with Donato and his son, Roberto, was excellent. Roberto met us at the train station and took us directly to the flat. Now, there are some 76 stairs--we counted--to get to the fourth floor, and no elevator. It was no issue for us--part...

"What a lovely few days we had in Salerno! The apartment is in a great location within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, waterfront, Duomo and other sites. Giusy and Pasquale were the perfect hosts and offered an immaculate and comfortable apartment. Communication and service were excellent and Pasquale not only waited to meet us (our train was delayed), but he also arranged our taxi for our early departure. We were sorry to have to leave. Within a very short walk we found fabulous restaurants along narrow co3bblestone streets. The city of Salerno was very alive at night.
