"Spent 10 days at the villa in late August '24. The weather was excellent and the location + pool was perfect for our family. The villa is well appointed with all mod cons but the boiler did break leaving us without hot water for 24 hours. No drama and the owners responded as quickly as possible to resolve this. The only other thing to note, and no fault of the owners, was the volume of bitey insects - horseflies, mozzies and large european wasps/hornets. These would bother you constantly ...

"The house was just as pictured. The only surprise was having to meet someone in town to follow them to the house. Driveway was a challenge, but once we got used to it, it was easy to find. Guido had the pool ready for us earlier than he had planned. And we certainly enjoyed it. The views are stunning and the sunsets are incredible. Our goal was to centrally locate and then visit all the surrounding areas of Umbria, CC Perugia, Orvietto, Cortona, And many more. This was the perfect location....

"Our group of older adults really enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and spacious villa. It was a very short walk to the town, with its market and coffee bar and restaurant. The pool was beautiful and clean but it was a bit chilly for swimming when we were there. Perfect setting for a group!"

"Das Haus liegt an einer ruhigen Sackgasse und ist sehr geräumig. Die untere Etage ist modern und grosszügig gestaltet. Dort befindet sich auch die Waschmaschine in einem eigenen Raum. Nur in der oberen Etage ist der Wasserdruck etwas schwach in der Dusche, was typisch ist in südlichen Ländern im Sommer. Der Swimming Pool ist lang, wunderbar um sportlich zu schwimmen oder nur einfach abzukühlen. Ein sehr freundlicher Mann sorgt dafür, daß der pool sauber bleibt, er kommt wöchentlich gegen 8:00....

"Very comfortable property and well equipped. Excellent communication with the owner. Montecchio is a very historic village and worth a wander around. Only a 10 minute walk from villa. The view from the villa is beautiful and it is very peaceful. Enjoyed the pool. A lovely relaxing stay."
