"The location and price were very good. Easy to get to from the train stazione, only 10 minute walk. The beach is only 5 min walk.The facility and staff are very good as well. My room was a good size for one and had all that I would need: closet, desk, and TV. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of covers in case it got cold. The bathroom is typical for Italia, small but that's how they are there. Water pressure was good and hot water was abundant. Everything was organized well and clean. My only complaint would be the very loud bang when other rooms close their doors. They should post signs to remind guests about slamming their doors, it was loud and vibrated into my room. Thankfully, the other guests stopped before I went to bed but guests should be reminded. Outside of that, I would happily return to Hotel Ausonia!"

"Hotel exists here over 100 years! For Which I appreciate the family to keep it going! Over that rooms are little bit older (2010 ish) all was very clean staff great! Most beautiful was VERY NEW AND ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SPA ON THE ROOF!!! LOVE THAT! Also travelled with our Golden Retriever - for little cleaning fee 20€ which I understand they had no problem at all with our lovely dog, thank you for this amazing memory you gave us!!!<3"

"Trying to figure out how to unload luggage gave us a bit of stress, but the local people were amazing to help us. The area is amazing, wished we would have had more time to tour. The room is comfortable, but it was a bit warm. We opened up the windows but with the celebration of Halloween was a tad too noisy. Loved hearing the children. The breakfast is very good. "

"It is a gorgeous hotel. A shame we couldn't eat any evening meal as they had an event on. I Found this odd in a 5 star hotel to suggest your guests leave the building to eat in the evening "

"Stayed in the off-season (October) so didn’t take advantage of the beach or pool but the hotel itself was nice. Breakfast was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. My particular room had evidence of water damage in the bathroom that hadn’t been properly repaired, but overall was a nice place to stay. "
